Key Responsibilities
  • Apply knowledge of industry standards, systems, document control, and company policies to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Review project requirements and determine the correct format and contents of required deliverables.
  • Proactively apply our Quality Program to deliverables and demonstrate personal accuracy.
  • Ensure consistency in design inputs and compliance with project-specific codes and standards.
  • Develop moderately complex design concepts and deliverables, applying basic engineering principles and established design practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and direction to other engineering professionals.
  • Perform design calculations, detailed material quantities, and estimates, and record results.
  • Review deliverables of others and define work assignments and maintain schedules.
  • Coordinate with other design group personnel to review and exchange project information necessary for design development.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Diploma or Certificate in a relevant field.
  • Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology.
  • Typically a minimum of 5 years related work experience.
Preferred Technical Skills
  • Experience in electronic applications and programs required for performing assignments.
  • Intermediate knowledge of engineering standards, systems, document control, and company policies.
  • Intermediate industry knowledge and technology trends.
  • Intermediate knowledge of company quality program.
Work Environment/Physical Demands
