We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Sensata Technologies, Inc. as a Quality Engineer. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced QA professional to lead the development and implementation of quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality engineering, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products.
  • Conduct the planning, implementing, and managing compliance of manufacturing and production processes with internal and external safety, quality, and regulatory standards requirements for worldwide distribution.
  • Handle design methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment, and finished products.
  • Analyze reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary.
  • Develop methods for testing, sampling, and training.
  • May act as an internal consultant by providing technical guidance on most complex projects.
  • Work with quality inspection supervisors to train and oversee inspectors in their use of control forms, procedures, and correcting quality problems.

Requirements

  • A university degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, science, mathematics) or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills; oral, written, and presentation.
  • Strong organization, planning, and time management skills to achieve results.
  • Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity.
  • Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization, including suppliers and/or external customers.
