Novartis Farmacéutica seeks a skilled Treasury Cash Management Payments Expert to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to support the Cash Disbursement process within our Global Service Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Accounts Payables processes and system solutions, including SAP FI/MM.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that payments processes are in place and managed in accordance with defined standards and operating procedures. This includes providing functional guidance from TCM Payments perspective for business transactions, interacting proactively with stakeholders to ensure accurate Cash Disbursements, and driving improvements to sustain a highly effective and efficient TCM Cash Disbursement process.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with senior-level cross-Novartis entities business colleagues and Novartis local entity/group financial reporting and accounting teams. You will also serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for related policies and processes, supporting productivity objectives and continuous improvement, process changes, and leading practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational oversight to provide services at expected levels with a clear customer focus
  • Provides functional guidance from TCM Payments perspective for business transactions
  • Interacts proactively within NGSC and Divisions to ensure accurate Cash Disbursements
  • Leads collaboration with key stakeholders to drive improvements

You will also be responsible for managing the payment preparation and execution life cycle according to business needs and following Treasury rules, accurately performing Performance Management and Service Delivery Processes for all multi-entity payment runs through SAP, and ensuring proper document management.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A University level degree in Accounting/Business Administration/Economics/Finance or related fields
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken, excellent communication skills
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience, with good functional exposure to Accounts Payables processes and Treasury and Cash Management
  • In-depth knowledge of Accounts Payables processes and system solutions, including SAP FI/MM

We offer a competitive salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications.
