Job Summary:
As a Quality Assurance Specialist at General Motors, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. This position involves executing the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process with suppliers to meet or exceed program work. You will also conduct program reviews to program milestones and escalate issues appropriately. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that our supply base adheres to General Motors' standards and quality and manufacturing processes are enabled to prevent out-of-standard conditions from moving to the next process or manufacturing site.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate supplier processes on-site to ensure quality and part rate for General Motors
• Possess knowledge in quality, manufacturing processes, and statistical process control
• Supervise processes and certify parts
• Analyze supplier quality issues and provide technical support
• Conversational English
• Availability for travel
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the automotive industry
