Technical Documentation Specialist

About this role

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Documenter to join our team at Carrier. As a Senior Mechanical Design Documenter, you will be responsible for creating high-quality documentation for mechanical parts, including 3D drawings and specifications.

Key responsibilities

1. Interface with design and manufacturing sites to gather and develop new documentation and specifications.
2. Procure clear and concise documentation including specifications for Navojoa molding area.
3. Make any changes to the technical review summary report in a timely manner.
4. Produce edited documents for review.
5. Revise documents to incorporate any requested changes.
6. Write technical documentation on plastic molds using AutoCad, Solid Works or any other 3D design software.
7. Create assembly models, 3D drawings and concept as required.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design review.
• Proficient with Computer assisted design (CAD), Solid work or equivalent.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software.
• Mechanical and documentation aptitude.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to speak and write in Spanish and English.
