As a key member of our environmental team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our environmental management system, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and promoting sustainable practices within our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement environmental management plans to minimize waste and reduce environmental impact.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainable practices and reduce environmental footprint.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to ensure compliance and promote environmental stewardship.
- Provide training and education to employees on environmental policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement waste reduction and recycling programs.
- Conduct environmental impact assessments and develop strategies to mitigate environmental risks.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
