About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to join our Product Engineering Shared Capabilities organization, where we build the foundational capabilities that power Thomson Reuters.

You will be part of a new CIAM team in Mexico, responsible for creating and overseeing the architectural design and principles for Customer Identity and Access Management.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years of relevant cloud experience, including building cloud-native applications and services on AWS or Azure, developing REST APIs using Java or .Net, and automation for CI/CD.

As a senior cloud architect, you will thrive in a collaborative and transparent environment, working closely with product teams to establish best practices and provide tooling for compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Create and oversee the architectural design and principles for CIAM
  • Communicate and convey the CIAM architecture to outside architects
  • Implement POCs and solutions when appropriate
  • Provide technical leadership in CIAM across TR
  • Mentor other engineers inside and outside the team
  • Collaborate with all product teams for extreme transparency and compliance
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related technology program
  • Minimum of 8 years software engineering experience with 2 years of relevant cloud experience
  • Experience with major Identity Providers (ForgeRock, Ping, Okta, Auth0 ...)
  • REST API security expertise (OAuth2, UMA, OIDC and/or SAML)
About You

You are a highly skilled software engineer with a passion for cloud computing and identity management. You have a strong background in software development, with experience in languages such as Java and .Net. You are also familiar with automation tools like CloudFormation and TerraForm.
