**Position Overview**:
We seek a seasoned and experienced Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team at our Tijuana office. The Mechanical Engineering Manager will be pivotal in designing, developing, and improving our industry-leading pumps and dredge equipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and success of Eddy Pump.
**Key Responsibilities**:
• Lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers and designers to meet project objectives and deadlines.
• Oversee the development and design of heavy-duty pumps and dredge equipment, ensuring product quality, efficiency, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and sales, to ensure seamless product development and delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Manage the full product development lifecycle, from concept to production, including design validation and testing.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance, reduce costs, and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Conduct engineering analysis and simulations to ensure product compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Monitor project budgets and resource allocation, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering.
**Requirements**:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a proven track record of managing engineering teams.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks or similar).
• Strong knowledge of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and mechanical design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
**Compensation and Benefits**:
$100,000.00 per month.
