Eaton Corporation is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure Timely Deliveries: Coordinate with suppliers to guarantee timely deliveries of non-production materials and services, adhering to legal and internal control processes.
- Supplier Performance Evaluation: Monitor and assess the performance of in-house suppliers, evaluating their effectiveness through Eaton's controls and implementing follow-up actions.
- Procurement Support: Assist plant requirements by developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, identifying RFQs for indirect materials and services, and focusing on new supplier requests for SLP new projects.
- Cost-Out Objectives: Participate in or contribute to integrators' cost-out objectives, ensuring alignment with Eaton's goals.
- Supplier Evaluation and Development: Manage and perform twice-a-year evaluations for critical suppliers through user service surveys, feedback, and action plans to maintain optimal supplier performance.
- Contract Management: Support new contract processes, including NDA and DPA, ensuring compliance with Eaton's policies.
- Order Processing and Management: Control processing orders, MRO consignment, shipments, request for quotes (RFQs), PO's creation, and bidding process, among other tasks.
- Internal Customer Support: Attend to internal customers and provide requisition support to users, ensuring their needs are met.
- Invoice Resolution: Review and resolve on-hold invoices in Markview on a timely manner for all SLP ledgers.
- Supplier Setup and Changes: Process set-ups (new suppliers, changes for TCO Mexico and Monterrey).
- Company Values and Ethics: Promote Eaton's vision by actively supporting the company's ethics and values, as well as quality policies.
- Supplier Evaluation and Compliance: Support suppliers' new evaluation processes required due to different audit requirements like DNV, OEA, SOX, MESH, OPA.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in purchasing or a related field.
- Language Skills: English language capability, speaking, reading, and writing required.
- Customer Service Skills: Strong customer service skills.
- Proactive and Results-Oriented: Must be proactive and results-oriented.
- Cost Analysis, Negotiation, and Communication Skills: Cost analysis, negotiation, communication, foreign purchasing management, and coordination skills.
