About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior iOS Engineer to join our team at Zillow. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development of our iOS applications, driving technical initiatives, and mentoring junior engineers.

Our ideal candidate is a strong leader who is passionate about iOS development, has a deep understanding of Objective-C and Swift, and is experienced in Agile software development practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mobile applications that meet the needs of our users.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development of iOS applications using the latest technologies and architectural patterns
  • Collaborating with engineers, designers, and product managers to define and deliver features
  • Mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance and support
  • Driving technical initiatives and improving the overall quality of our iOS applications

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 6+ years of experience in iOS development, with a strong focus on Objective-C and Swift
  • Experience with Agile software development practices and version control systems
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide junior engineers
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
