About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior iOS Engineer to join our team at Zillow. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development of our iOS applications, driving technical initiatives, and mentoring junior engineers.

Our ideal candidate is a strong leader who is passionate about iOS development, has a deep understanding of Objective-C and Swift, and is experienced in Agile software development practices. You should be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and services, to deliver high-quality mobile applications.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of delivering quality code on a deadline, experience with profiling and optimizing performance, and a passion for mentoring and growing the potential of others. Additionally, you should be fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken, and authorized to work in Mexico.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of iOS applications, driving technical initiatives and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mobile applications.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, testable, and scalable code using Objective-C and Swift.
  • Profile and optimize performance to ensure seamless user experiences.
  • Mentor and grow the potential of junior engineers.
Requirements
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in iOS development.
  • Strong knowledge of Objective-C and Swift.
  • Experience with Agile software development practices.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
  • Authorized to work in Mexico.
