We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Operations Manager to join our team at American Axle & Manufacturing, Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant, driving efficiency and productivity, and contributing to the company's overall success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development of the plant budget and monthly forecasts to ensure accurate financial planning and decision-making.
- Supervise and manage the plant's standard costs, ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of plant data, including financial and operational metrics, to inform business decisions.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans to drive business growth and improvement.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of accounting procedures, including US GAAP and SOX regulations.
- Proficiency in business management IT tools, including ERP and BI systems.
- Advanced Excel skills, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Professional and technical English language skills, with a minimum of B2 level proficiency.
