**Job Summary**

As a Housekeeping Associate with Marriott International, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel's public areas and guest rooms. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our guests.

**Responsibilities**

  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen and store room areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Receive and store deliveries, ensuring that perishables are properly stored and rotated to prevent spoilage.
  • Ensure that clean wares are stored in designated areas to maintain a tidy and organized environment.
  • Use a 3-compartment sink to clean dishes, following a set procedure to ensure maximum cleanliness and efficiency.
  • Inspect, pull, and stack cleaned items, sending soiled items back for re-scrubbing and re-washing as needed.
  • Rack and spray all racked items with hot water to loosen and remove food residue.
  • Sort, soak, and wash/re-wash silverware to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Break down dirty bus tubs and empty and maintain trashcans and dumpster areas to prevent overflow and maintain a clean environment.
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures, reporting any maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, or unsafe work conditions to the manager.
  • Complete safety training and certifications to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Protect company assets by maintaining a secure and organized environment.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, supporting the team to achieve common goals.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards, moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, reaching overhead and below the knees to complete tasks as required.
