Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Supervisor to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As an Area Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our public spaces, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect public areas, including guest rooms, to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Run sold room reports, verify room status, and determine discrepant rooms.
  • Prioritize room cleaning and update the status of departing guest rooms.
  • Assist management in managing daily activities and coordinate efforts with Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
  • Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk.
  • Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments.
  • Communicate issues to next shift and complete required paperwork.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
