Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled **MRO Procurement Specialist** to join our team in Saltillo, Mexico. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for quoting, processing, and tracking all MRO orders, proposing and selecting alternative suppliers, conducting supplier biddings, and ensuring inventory accuracy on MRO items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage supplier relationships and scorecards to ensure compliance and reliability.
  • Procure supplies for the spare parts room, maintaining optimal inventory levels.
  • Conduct preliminary negotiations with vendors to secure the best possible prices.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of purchase orders and discrepancies.
  • Maintain up-to-date supplier filing systems and prepare internal reports as required.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to reduce procurement expenses.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration or supply chain management.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of procurement processes and procedures.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of administrative concepts and principles.
  • Action-oriented and able to work under pressure.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
