About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Night Audit Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the front office, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, processing transactions, and ensuring timely completion of end-of-day activities.
Responsibilities
- End-of-Day Activities: Complete all necessary tasks, including posting charges to accounts, running night audit backup, and rolling over dates.
- Transaction Processing: Process various payment types, such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit cards.
- Guest Management: Sell rooms to guests without reservations based on availability, operate the telephone switchboard station, and process requests for wake-up calls.
- Reporting and Record-Keeping: Complete the Room Rate Variance Report, process guest check-ins, and balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.
- Confidentiality and Safety: Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, protect company assets, and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Work Experience: Less than 1 year of related work experience preferred.
- License or Certification: None required.
Earnings and Benefits
The estimated salary range for this role is $25,000 - $35,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Marriott International offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
