About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Hardware Engineer to join our team at the Knorr Bremse Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems for our commercial vehicle products.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform electrical analysis, development, and implementation of test cases at the component, system, and hardware-in-the-loop levels to verify compliance with requirements, regulations, and standards.
  2. Develop functional test cases for electrical systems and hardware-in-the-loop modeling using tools such as dSPACE, Matlab, and Simulink.
  3. Support vehicle-level testing as needed and integrate hardware and software design-level test benches.
  4. Collaborate with global application and design teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
  5. Develop and execute technical plans to validate system releases and product applications.
  6. Author technical documentation, including test reports and customer-facing specifications.
  7. Interface with customers, software developers, systems engineers, and management to communicate project status.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  2. 3+ years of experience in electrical systems engineering, preferably in the heavy-duty truck, bus, or automotive market.
  3. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including vehicle communication protocols, CANalyzer, CANape, and Python programming.
  4. Experience with dSPACE, Matlab, Simulink, and other relevant tools.
  5. Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment and lead projects.
