About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a deep understanding of customer systems and database architecture. As a Patch Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely planning for system and database patching and upgrade tasks. Your goal will be to achieve the highest possible customer success by providing strategic direction and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level technical support to customers, serving as their primary contact for all issues.
  • Train customers in the effective use of Oracle support, ensuring they have the necessary skills to manage their systems.
  • Own the delivery of crucial services and assessments, working closely with customers to understand their critical systems.
  • Meet regularly with customers to understand the criticality of their systems and coordinate the resolution of specific customer requests.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service experience, with strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Organization skills and detailed knowledge of critical and IT concepts, strategies, methodologies, and practices.
  • Bachelor's and Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • Experience in multi-tier architecture environments, with high-level skills in database upgrades and patching.
  • Fundamental understanding of computer networking, systems, and database technologies.
  • Ability to handle various tasks and meet schedules in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written English and Portuguese language skills.
Desired Skills
  • Oracle RAC, CRS, Cellcli, ASM, RMAN, Data Guard.
  • Experience with Oracle Engineered Systems and Oracle Technology.
  • Oracle installation, patch, and upgrade within production environments.
  • Experience with OEM, Grid control, RMAN, Linux OS, Oracle Database Administration.
  • Server and storage setup and administration.
  • Any Oracle certifications are a plus.
  • ITIL certification is a plus.
