Atrato is a fintech startup dedicated to providing financial tools for businesses and end consumers, making products and services more accessible to Latin America.

We offer two main products: Atrato Pago, a financing option that allows our affiliated merchants to offer their products and services in monthly or biweekly payments up to 24 months, and Atrato Cash, a personal loan that our clients can access after paying part of their first loan. Our credit system is simple: customers can receive a loan of up to 200,000 MXN in their bank account with just a few clicks.

Job Summary:

This role involves supporting the management and security of AWS cloud resources, assisting in automating tasks, and contributing to maintaining compliance with ISO 27001 standards. As a Cloud Engineer, you'll work closely with senior engineers to monitor security, respond to incidents, and optimize resources.

  • Supporting the provisioning and optimization of AWS cloud resources to align with organizational needs and budget
  • Assisting in configuring access controls and encryption under the guidance of senior engineers to enforce security policies and safeguard data
  • Developing scripts and learning to use tools like AWS CloudFormation for automated provisioning and resource management
  • Setting up monitoring tools, detecting security threats, and assisting in coordinating responses to security incidents
  • Configuring virtual networks and ensuring secure network connectivity within the cloud environment
  • Supporting the response and recovery process for system disruptions or incidents
  • Providing technical support assistance to internal teams in troubleshooting cloud infrastructure-related issues

We're looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (or in progress)
  • Prior knowledge or experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudWatch
  • Understanding of networking concepts like subnet configuration, routing, and security groups
  • Interest in automation and scripting, with some experience in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell being a plus
  • Willingness to learn about monitoring systems and security tools for AWS

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience with Microservices and Serverless Architectures
  • Experience with IaC like Terraform
  • Familiarity with other Cloud providers
  • Experience working on a Fintech or Startups
  • AWS Certifications
