Overview:

PepsiCo, one of the largest food and beverage companies in the world, is seeking a skilled Financial Reporting Specialist. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial closure of the company and providing reliable information to shareholders.

The Opportunity:

This exciting position involves analyzing, recording, and documenting financial data, as well as preparing and executing financial reports in the HFM system. You will be responsible for consolidating financial statements, managing IC accounting, and collaborating with PepsiCo divisions on various accounting transactions.

Your Impact:

As a Financial Reporting Specialist, you will have a significant impact on the company's financial performance and decision-making processes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Consolidation of financial statements
  • IC accounting
  • Assistance with period-end close procedures, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals
  • Collaboration with PepsiCo divisions on various accounting transactions
  • Partnership with US Corporate Consolidation Center of Excellence on accounting matters
  • Analysis of balance sheet reviews to ensure no unexpected financial impacts
  • Execution of financial reports (Smartview / FDM - HFM)
  • Maintenance of internal control procedures and compliance with SOX requirements

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Accounting
  • At least 3 years of experience in USGAAP, consolidation, and IC accounting

  • Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and business standards for integrated financial analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate findings into actionable solutions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
