About the Role

This position is part of the R&D Team at ABB, responsible for setting up and executing routine tests for various products in accordance with standard testing methodologies and requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test Planning and Execution: Define test plans to investigate and solve critical product issues, optimize industrialization processes, and verify product compliance with specific standards.
  • Test Development and Implementation: Develop and implement test plans, assigning the right priority, and ensuring the planning and implementation of test plans.
  • Test Result Analysis and Reporting: Analyze and evaluate test results, prepare test reports in partnership with designers, engineers, and quality teams, and ensure that prototypes are correctly assembled, tests are correctly performed, and activities are thoroughly reported.
  • Process Improvement: Propose improvements in existing test techniques based on experience and knowledge of new trends and equipment.
  • Training and Support: Assist and support external certification inspectors during testing activities and train new members of test operations and processes.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electro-mechanical, Mechatronics, or Robotics.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in Electrical testing.
  • Skills: Electrical diagrams reading, general knowledge in certification IEC, IEEE, and mid-advanced English.
  • Travel: Open to national and international travel (30%).
