We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at EthosEnergy Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and safety regulations and a proven track record of implementing effective safety programs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures
  • Conducting regular safety audits and inspections
  • Providing training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures
  • Collaborating with management to identify and mitigate safety risks

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Formal certifications in Mexican health and safety regulations are required.

Key responsibilities:

  • HSSE Support for the Mexico O&M Monterrey Power Plants
  • Required skills:
    • Demonstrated knowledge of Health and Safety laws and regulations
    • Established project management skills
    • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
    • Strong computer skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to deal with complex safety situations
    • Must be a self-starter with a high degree of initiative and ability to work independently
    • Skilled at customer-focused Service Excellence

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Safety, Environmental or a related field
  • Formal Certifications (Diplomados with DC3s) on Mexican Health Safety Security and Environmental regulations, preferably related to the power industry

Physical Requirements:

  • Position requires periods of intense physical exertion, including walking, climbing, and lifting
  • Ability to lift and move material up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to climb and perform a function up to a 12-ft ladder
