Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Senior Biomedical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Csl Plasma Inc. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, collecting plasma samples, testing, shipping, and storing plasma collected from donors while ensuring product quality.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of three (3) months of experience in a laboratory or warehouse environment. Bilingual skills may be required, at the discretion of the organization, to meet the needs of the business.

Your Responsibilities
This role involves several key responsibilities:

  • Plasma Sampling and Testing: Collect plasma samples from donors, conduct tests, and ensure accurate and timely results.
  • Shipping and Storage: Pack and ship plasma units according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and center procedures.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures, maintain equipment, and report any issues promptly.
  • Donor Data Management: Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system as outlined in SOPs.
  • Safety and Compliance: Follow Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) policies and procedures.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of all personnel, donor, and center information.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.
