We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Specialist to join our team at Hitachi Vantara Corporation. As an Occupational Health Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees in the workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct audits of medical services to ensure compliance with minimum infrastructure and equipment requirements for outpatient medical care.
- Develop and standardize medical guidelines and formats for worker health surveillance, general medical care, and special examinations.
- Implement procedures for manual load handling, active breaks, and hearing conservation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including NOM-010-STPS, NOM-011-STPS, and NOM-036-1-STPS.
- Perform medical examinations for new employees and periodic examinations for personnel.
- Monitor the company's health plan and supervise dining room conditions and staff.
- Develop and implement an annual worker health surveillance program.
- Monitor and control IMSS documents for work risk.
- Conduct situational health diagnoses of the site.
- Manage health campaigns and develop an annual program for the promotion of public and occupational health.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience as an on-site occupational health coordinator or staff doctor.
- Experience in managing health and ergonomics campaigns.
- Experience working in maquiladoras.
- Doctor with a specialty in occupational health.
- Advanced English language skills.
- Proficiency in Excel.
