Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our team at Michael Page. As an Assistant Controller, you will play a critical role in overseeing the daily activities of our financial operations and supporting the Plant Controller with various financial tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Assist with the monthly close of entities, including Maquila billing, journal entries, and account trend analysis.
- Financial Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including balance sheet account reconciliations and statutory reporting filings.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to and implement continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance financial operations.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with various tax filings and regulatory requirements.
- Leadership: Supervise the fixed asset process and lead a team of financial professionals.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Assistant Plant Controller or Plant Controller Jr., with experience as a manager of people.
- Skills: Fluent communication in English, both written and verbal, and experience with SAP.
