Position Overview

The Generative AI Innovation Center at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a newly established strategic unit dedicated to assisting AWS clients in deploying Generative AI solutions that unlock transformative business potential.

Team Dynamics
This team comprises strategists, data scientists, engineers, and solution architects who collaborate closely with clients to develop tailored solutions that leverage the capabilities of generative AI.

Key Responsibilities
Our team aids clients in envisioning and defining use cases that yield maximum value for their enterprises, selecting, training, and fine-tuning appropriate models, navigating technical and business challenges, creating proof-of-concepts, and strategizing for large-scale solution deployment.

We provide insights on best practices for the responsible and cost-effective application of generative AI.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in developing large-scale enterprise IT systems in a production setting
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, Matlab, or Java
  • Experience with public cloud computing, particularly AWS or other major cloud providers
  • Experience in hosting and deploying machine learning solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field
  • Strong understanding of deep learning, machine learning, and statistics, with hands-on experience in building models using frameworks like MXNet, TensorFlow, Caffe, Torch, or Theano
  • Hands-on experience with deep learning techniques (e.g., CNN, RNN, LSTM)
  • Experience in statistical modeling and machine learning.
