Your Mission and Responsibilities

As a Controls Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining software and program backups on automated equipment. Your main objectives will be:

  • Ensure compliance with IATF, ISO, FES, ICB, STPS, and CT PAT standards.
  • Participate in the purchase of new equipment to meet manufacturing, maintenance, and safety requirements.
  • Contribute to defining technical specifications for equipment and facility changes.
  • Coordinate repair and prevention requirements for all manufacturing equipment.
  • Develop standards for equipment repair, start-up, and operation.
  • Participate in Production System Efficiency and Quality System Efficiency actions to support continuous improvement.
  • Keep backup documentation for PLCs, HMIs, Drives, etc. up to date.
  • Define and monitor quality objectives, costs, and deadlines for external companies.
  • Recommend security policies and ensure security controls are tested and reliable.
  • Participate in the analysis and preparation of Major Failure Reports.

Your Profile and Competencies

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum education level of Ingeniería, preferably with a specialization in Mechatronics. You should have experience in maintenance, equipment management, and working under pressure. You should also have knowledge of TPM and intermediate English skills.
