We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Underwriting Professional to join our team at AIG Mexico. As a key member of our commercial insurance team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a portfolio of commercial accounts, ensuring that our underwriting processes are compliant with our goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in day-to-day business to develop the portfolio of commercial accounts and offer support in the underwriting process.
- Ensure that underwriting processes comply with our goals and objectives of production and profitability.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct risk analysis and pricing to ensure accurate and competitive quotes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
Requirements:
- More than 4 years of underwriting experience in the market.
- Experience in supporting business planning and data entering.
- PC skills in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, IE and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
- Capacity to optimize work processes.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and develop financial reports.
- Fully bilingual or as close to 100% as possible (English-Spanish).
