Job Title: Technical Project Manager - Enterprise Migration

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to spearhead our enterprise-wide migration from Rally to Jira Software. As a key member of our team, you will lead the planning and tracking efforts, developing and maintaining a comprehensive migration strategy with step-by-step processes, guides, and communications.

Your mission will be to ensure data is migrated accurately, securely, and efficiently, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and project customers. You will coordinate, build, and maintain a repeatable migration process, planning, implementing, and monitoring projects and activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a migration strategy, step-by-step processes, guides, and communications to ensure data is migrated accurately, securely, and efficiently.
  • Lead the planning and tracking of migrating Rally to Jira for the Enterprise Technology organization.
  • Coordinate, build, monitor, and maintain a repeatable migration process.
  • Plan, implement, and monitor migration projects and activities.
  • Identify and resolve migration issues and provide technical support for the migration process.
  • Conduct Office Hours, Forums, Awareness, and Working sessions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in computer science or related disciplines.
  • 5+ years of project management and agile/scrum experience in IT.
  • Exposure to Software Development methodologies, Quality Assurance, and Security & Control procedures.
  • Excellent planning and communication skills, flexibility to accommodate working across different time zones and sensitivity to cultural and geographical differences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient knowledge and use of Backlog tools, such as Jira and Rally.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and navigate complex decision-making scenarios.
  • Knowledge of the Atlassian Platform tools (Jira Software, Jira Service Manager, and Confluence).
  • Some experience or knowledge of the following: GitHub, Linux, Python, Shell, Bash, rest API.
