Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Optimization Specialist to join our team at Autozone. This role plays a critical part in driving business growth and improving operational efficiency by developing statistical models, analyzing data, and implementing strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement statistical models to support ongoing replenishment programs, supply chain services, and business process reengineering projects.
  • Monitor existing replenishment systems, intervening where necessary to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory management.
  • Analyze data to identify issues and develop solutions for unusual problems that arise, including new store needs.
  • Provide data and analysis to cross-functional teams, assisting other departments with inventory issues and providing coaching and guidance for Supply Chain Analysts.
  • Research and implement best practices between US DS and Mexico DS teams.
  • Develop and program Supply Chain KPIs and publish them at the store level.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Inventory Management is required. Five to seven years of experience in Inventory Management, data information management, and knowledge of database programming and statistics are also essential.

Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000, based on industry standards and location.
