Job Description

Become a key player in the evolution of The British American Tobacco Group by taking on the role of Supply Chain Optimization Director.

About the Role

This senior position is part of the Digital Business Solutions function, responsible for achieving operational excellence and improving supply chain efficiency. You will own the development and implementation of robust demand forecasting strategies, utilizing data analytics, market insights, and cross-functional collaboration to accurately anticipate product demand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create vital tools and models to support demand forecasting for monthly and annual planning, as well as ad-hoc requests.
  • Provide timely volume performance analysis to facilitate accurate demand forecasting.
  • Ensure accurate reporting according to Regional guidelines.

You will be accountable for building and maintaining a demand planning framework aligned with organizational objectives. This includes optimizing inventory levels, minimizing stockouts, and improving profitability. Your strategic approach will contribute significantly to the company's overall success.

About You

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with a graduate degree in Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Maths, or MBA, and at least 5 years of experience in domain management, senior partner management, and project management in a large-scale organization.

Key skills include good understanding of End-To-End Supply Chain Management, SC Planning tools like SAP, Blue Yonder, or APO, and hands-on experience with data toolsets and demand planning software. Excellent Excel skills, strong Project Management skills, and high standard writing, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills are also required.

What We Offer

As a member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary estimated at $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
