Job Overview

The OMR will serve as the primary point of contact for all medical-related issues at our Sort Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medicine, excellent communication skills, and the ability to analyze complex situations.

About the Role

  • Provide first aid treatment to injured employees and maintain accurate records of treatment given.
  • Analyze tasks for potential safety issues and implement measures to prevent injuries.
  • Participate in the workers' compensation process and develop site wellness programs.
  • Train managers and associates in first aid, CPR, AED, and Blood Borne Pathogen training.
  • Provide daily activity logs to the safety and leadership team and participate in weekly site case management review meetings.

Requirements

  • Valid card evidencing successful completion of a first aid, CPR, and AED course from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Medicine (Título de Médico) or Nursing (Licenciatura en Enfermeria), TUMs (Tecnicos en Urgencias Medicas) Certification or Technical Degree in Nursing (Carrera Técnica en Enfermería).
  • Experience in Industrial, Distribution / Logistics warehouse environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience and certification in teaching first-aid, CPR and AED.

We estimate that this role will pay approximately $25,000-$35,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
