About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Business Partner to join our team at Bodycote. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in supporting the business by providing strategic HR guidance and expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a single point of contact for employees and managers in the AGI MX Region, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters.
  • HR Process Delivery: Proactively support the delivery of HR processes, including employee relations, compensation, engagement, organizational design/change, recruiting, and selection.
  • Complex Project Management: Manage complex and difficult HR projects cross-functionally, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Business Relationship Building: Build strong business relationships with internal customers, including operations, SSC, support functions, and corporate.
  • Risk Management: Identify gaps and propose changes necessary to cover risks, ensuring compliance with Mexican Federal and State labor laws.
  • Performance Improvement: Act as a performance improvement driver, provoking positive changes in people management and supporting succession plans for key talents and key job positions.
  • Workers' Compensation: Manage workers' comp issues in accordance with Mexico laws and regulations, ensuring timely resolution to claims.
  • Performance Management: Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to management, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions.
  • Employee Engagement: Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Employee Relations Issues: Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough, timely, and objective investigations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum five years of increasing HR generalist responsibility, including handling employee relations, compensation decisions, recruiting, and performance management.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual Spanish – English (full verbal, reading, and writing).
  • Skills: Outstanding communication, coaching, influencing, and interpersonal skills; process and detail-oriented, including strong organizational and prioritization skills; 'systems savvy' – comfortable with the use of IT in HR, and automation.
  • Travel: Must be able to travel throughout the region.
