**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to join our team at Wallenius Wilhelmsen. As a key member of our management team, you will support the General Manager and Operations Manager in our fast-paced Vehicle Processing Center (VPC).

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Coordinate all operations supervisors onsite to ensure seamless execution of daily operations.
  • Develop strategies to meet customer needs and drive business growth.
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager to achieve safety, quality, and productivity KPIs.
  • Support the Operations Manager in managing new requirements from GM Logistics and GM SLP Assembly Plant.
  • Collaborate with the HR department to create strategies to prevent turnover and absenteeism.
  • Act as a liaison between operations and quality and safety departments.
  • Focus on creating best practices to achieve financial objectives.
  • Develop and implement monthly plans according to production plans shared by customers.

**Requirements:**

  • 5-7 years of experience in planning and directing operations.
  • Experience in SOP, MRP, TQM, JIT, Kaizen, 5S, and visual factory management.
  • Microsoft Office computer skills and database navigational skills.
  • A 4-year degree.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions.
  • English language proficiency at intermediate level.
