Job Summary:

An Equipment Assembly Specialist will assemble pumping equipment following established guidelines and procedures, taking measurements during assembly and filling out necessary records. The goal is self-safety and that of coworkers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Verify assembly procedure under strict monitoring, matching components to part numbers and materials specified by Engineering. Report discrepancies to the supervisor.
2. Properly fill out log checklist sheets with important data such as IRR, Series, Work Order, Casts, etc. for equipment traceability.
3. Assemble components in the order described in the procedure, maintaining component integrity during maneuvers.
4. Deliver completed checklists to document control when equipment is sent to the next process.
5. Correctly use measuring instruments to verify tolerances required in equipment assembly. Evaluate operations to be carried out and analyze risks for safe work days.
6. Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area at all times, taking care of and being responsible for assigned tools and/or equipment.
7. Clean, organize and store tools/equipment/instruments used during the workday, leaving a clean work area according to standards.
8. Conduct one security observation per month and report it to the security area. Report full work time in the EPICOR system using a work order/production order.

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE: 2 years as an assembler/maintenance/manufacturing/general industry SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE/TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
- Use of hand tools
- Workshop tools (presses, heat inductors, skids, etc.)
- Use of Measuring Instruments (Vernier, outside micrometer, height caliper at least)
- Management of measurements and tolerances in the International System and the English System
- Using a PC and basic Windows operation
- Knowledge of the ISO 9001:2015 standard

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on location and experience.
