Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machining Specialist to join our team at ITT Inc. in Machining Equipment Operations. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for machining components with precision and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain strict monitoring of the machining process to ensure raw materials meet required specifications.
  • Verify that parts match requirements and trace their origin to ensure desired machining outcomes.
  • Fill out machining records properly, recording values on plans for each dimension machined.
  • Machine components in the order described in production plans, ensuring part integrity during maneuvers.
  • Deliver quality control plans with actual dimensions written down by hand and signed upon equipment delivery.
  • Use measuring instruments to verify tolerances required in component machining.
  • Evaluate operations to be carried out and analyze risks to maintain safe workdays.
  • Keep assigned tools and equipment well-maintained, clean, organized, and stored according to standards.
  • Carry out monthly security observations and report findings to the security area.
  • Report full work time using EPICOR system with work orders/production orders.
Requirements:
  • Credentials: Technical career certificate, TSU Certificate, School certificate.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years as CNC operator and conventional equipment operator.
  • Specific Knowledge/Technical Competencies:
    • Operation of machines such as Lathe/CNC Machining Center, Conventional Vertical/Horizontal lathe, Boring machine, Milling machine, Radial drill.
    • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standard.
    • Familiarity with Measuring Instruments (Vernier, outside micrometer, height caliper).
    • Management of measurements and tolerances in International System and English System.
    • Interpretation of machining plans (Finishes/Tolerances/Geometric Tolerances/Details/Views).
    • Basic Windows operation.
Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000, based on industry standards and market conditions.
