Job Overview

Zendesk is seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our team in Mexico City. As a trusted advisor to our leadership, you will play a critical role in informing and guiding strategic decisions through insightful analyses and thought partnership.

The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in finance, pricing, sales strategy, economics, or consulting, with a strong analytical aptitude and attention to detail. You will be responsible for delivering high-precision forecasting and actionable insights, building complex financial models, and becoming a well-rounded finance professional.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide decision support and act as a thought partner to GTM leadership, delivering accurate financial and non-financial information and analyses for their business decisions.
  • Perform ongoing and ad hoc analyses, synthesizing complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations to drive value engineering opportunities and business results.
  • Build and improve upon robust financial models to accurately forecast and plan key financial and operational metrics.
  • Deliver timely and accurate reporting on existing and new key financial and operational metrics against strategic goals.
  • Establish processes and drive process improvements in collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize financial systems and improve forecast accuracy.

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of experience in finance, pricing, sales strategy, economics, or consulting.
  • Advanced skills in building scalable financial models and understanding strategic impact on the wider business.
  • Strong analytical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to establish collaborative relationships and influence senior leadership.
  • Proficiency in using, managing, and building-out planning tools and applications.
