Position Summary: As a vital member of the Technical Function team, the Maintenance Manager will serve as a key leader in overseeing the Maintenance department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee preventative and corrective maintenance and repair operations to ensure the reliability of machinery and equipment.
  • Plan, prioritize, and manage maintenance tasks to address breakdowns and malfunctions, minimizing operational disruptions.
  • Develop and implement effective repair and maintenance protocols.
  • Monitor cost efficiency of maintenance activities to optimize resource allocation and ensure adherence to safety and reliability standards.
  • Research and recommend new maintenance tools and equipment to enhance team capabilities.
  • Evaluate and manage contractor relationships to ensure quality service while minimizing costs.
  • Collaborate with various department managers to synchronize scheduled maintenance with operational needs.
  • Prepare work orders and track progress against estimates.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop maintenance personnel to ensure timely and accurate completion of repair and service tasks.
  • Adhere to the Integrated Management System (I.M.S.) standards, including ISO certifications.

Technical Skills Required:

  • In-depth knowledge of machinery and equipment.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, particularly in electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Experience in strategizing maintenance operations.
  • Familiarity with fire suppression systems and air conditioning.
  • Knowledge of lean and six sigma methodologies.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks in various environments, including lifting and working at heights.
  • Flexibility to work across different shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining compliance programs for Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing context.
  • Willingness to adapt work hours to support continuous operations.
  • Proficiency in English.

This role may involve travel to vendor locations and other company sites for collaboration with project teams and external partners.
