Position: Senior Quality Assurance Engineer
Job Overview:
The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer is accountable for overseeing quality performance metrics, including cPPMs, QDRs, Q Scrap, PPAC, Customer Audits, CP Compliance, and timely PPAP submissions. This role is critical in ensuring that manufacturing processes meet quality standards during both the launch phase and ongoing production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and report on quality KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to quality objectives throughout the manufacturing process.
- Implement immediate corrective actions in cases of quality discrepancies.
- Facilitate the escalation process as necessary.
- Champion initiatives aimed at enhancing process quality within the facility.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive quality documentation.
- Serve as the primary contact for inquiries related to customer service quality.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of specific customer requirements.
- Oversee risk management and product safety protocols.
- Manage customer complaints and warranty issues effectively.
- Ensure the final PPAP submission is completed accurately and submitted to customers.
- Validate project-related documentation, including D-FMEA, process flowcharts, and Control Plans.
- Lead both internal and external audits related to production processes.
- Provide support to quality management during external and client audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality engineering.
- Proficient in recognized quality tools and standards.
- Experience with Coretools, CSR, and familiarity with Injection or Blowing processes is advantageous.
- Strong proficiency in the English language is essential.
