Job Description

The Electrical Systems Engineer is responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance, repair, and replacement of electrical systems, equipment, and instrumentation at our power plant in Cosoleacaque, Veracruz.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance of electrical systems. They will work closely with the electrical supervisor to develop and implement maintenance programs, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and optimize system performance.

Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and instrumentation, including motors, generators, transformers, and switchgear.
  • Development and implementation of predictive and preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and reduce costs.
  • Troubleshooting and repair of electrical faults and failures.
  • Conducting regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Collaboration with the electrical supervisor to develop and implement energy-efficient solutions.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, codes, and standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on maintenance and repair.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including design, installation, and operation.
  • Experience with predictive and preventive maintenance techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
