Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Applications Development Technology Lead to join our team at Citi. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading applications systems analysis and programming activities, ensuring the design and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs align with the overall architecture blueprint.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with multiple management teams to ensure the integration of functions and identify necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements.
  • Resolve high-impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards.
  • Provide expertise in applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint.
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals.
  • Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions.
  • Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary.
  • Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role.
  • Extensive experience in system analysis and programming of software applications.
  • Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development.
  • Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication.

Background: Experience developing on Open platforms, knowledge and experience in C, Java, Tuxedo, Python, web logic, Apache, etc. Desired experience in Fraud and Complaints Applications platforms. Advanced English/Conversational – Contact with providers in Asia. Soft skills: Technical Team Management, Leadership, Decision-making, Negotiation, Change Management. Plus: knowledge in project management, financial topics, business handling, requirement and conflict management, and managing agreements and provider handling.
