Job Summary
Responsible for coordinating the necessary departments for the transferring of new products, new technologies, and new methodologies. Acts as the link between R&D engineering and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Acts as the plant representative for each product development team for Industrial Engineering and Quality.
- Delivers manufacturing processes that are optimized and meet the need of the business.
- Responsible for purchasing new equipment as required.
- Performs activities related to safety.
Requirements
- Engineering Degree (Mechanical or Industrial Engineering)
- Bilingual English & Spanish 100%, French beneficial but not mandatory
- Good industrial engineering skills, and mechanical aptitude
- Project management: Master plan and budget development and execution
- Able to lead DFA & PFMEA studies
- Good communication skills to all levels of management
- Able to interact with Management and all departments
- Individual personality that assures relationship building
- SAP, Catia, 3DVIA (desired)
- Must be willing to travel
- Experience in a high complexity fabrication environment (Fabrication Area)
- Fabrication processes experience (Welding, Bending, Notching) (Fabrication Area)
