Job Title: Senior Storage & Backup Engineer

Connectingology is seeking a highly skilled Senior Storage & Backup Engineer to join its team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise data protection and a deep understanding of complex IT infrastructure landscapes.

The Senior Storage & Backup Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the company's IT storage and backup environment, including other infrastructure components.

This role will serve as a support and maintenance hub for the entire storage and backup product line and any related matters.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Senior Systems Engineer for Storage & Backup.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure landscapes.
  • Deep technical expertise and understanding of systems and operational level requirements in multiple infrastructure disciplines with focus on the responsible subject matter.
Work Experience:
  • Experience working with multiple third-party vendors, strong customer focus.
  • Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
  • Experience working in the aviation industry or food services spaces is a plus.
  • Experience structuring complex problems and delivering insights and recommendations.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with diverse groups and senior-level management.
  • Possession of excellent strategic and tactical communication planning and execution skills.
  • Be very detail-oriented and enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic, results-oriented environment.
  • Technical Skills: Certification, Licenses, and Registration.
  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience with the installation and configuration of Enterprise Class Data Protection infrastructures.
  • 2-3 years of enterprise backup technology experience (Apex, Veeam, others).
