About the Role

Dematic / KION Group is seeking an experienced SAP Cloud Application Developer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, building, and operating Aftersales solutions in KION Group IT.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement solutions to users in accordance with functional designs.
  • Design, build, develop, and maintain SAP C4C-based applications.
  • Integrate SAP Cloud-based applications into SAP systems.
  • Consult with internal customers on the feasibility of customer developments from connected SAP systems.
  • Troubleshoot problems in SAP Cloud-based interfaces.
  • Participate in meetings and build trust with internal business customers, understanding business objectives and seeking alignment.
  • Engage with key users and business partners to identify and validate requirements and translate to solution design.
  • Analyze and develop functional specifications and communicate to technical developers to develop the required solutions in the most efficient way.
  • Monitor and present periodic status to stakeholders.
  • Monitor risks/issues and prepare appropriate mitigation plans.
  • Ensure best practices are followed and required processes and specifications are documented.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or similar field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position (software development, system administration, platform engineer, application support).
  • Knowledge of cloud-based development technologies (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python).
  • Knowledge of SAP development (e.g., SAP S/4 Hana, ABAP & OData).
  • Knowledge of integrating cloud-based applications into SAP systems.
  • Systematic problem-solving approach.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Demonstrable agile mindset and willingness to learn and develop further.
  • Strong communication skills (English required C1/C2).
  • Resume/CV must be submitted in English.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% internationally.
