**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Build Engineer to join our team at Autoliv. As a key member of our equipment launch and operations support team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of new or retrofit equipment launches, quotes for new programs, installation, and run at rate of equipment at supplier and the assembly plant.
Key Responsibilities- Buy-Off 1 to 4: Successfully execute on time.
- Spare Parts and Manuals: Deliver on time.
- Zero Defects Philosophy / First Time Quality: Achieve and maintain.
- Project Delivery: Ensure timely completion.
- Q5 Initiative: Provide quotes for new launches.
- Pre-Run at Rates: 100% customer satisfaction.
- Policy Deployment: Implement actions on time and ensure green status.
- Process Flow Design: Recommend optimum process flow based on specific exploded view of SW design.
- Cost and Cycle Time Analysis: Provide accurate cost and cycle time for each process step in the assembly process of SW.
- Equipment Identification: Identify the equipment needed for each new launch.
- Equipment Specification: Deliver equipment specification MES and design guideline for quoting purposes.
- Supplier Management: Develop good working relationship with local equipment suppliers and manage the cost and timing of the equipment build and/or retrofit.
- Design Center Collaboration: Work closely with the design center and provide inputs into the design of SW to ensure manufacturability of all coming new products.
- CFT Meetings: Support in reviewing and closing actions generated during events on time.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

- Qualifications: APQP basic knowledge, introduction of new products, interpretation of electrical and pneumatic diagrams, balancing of production lines, mechanical and electrical knowledge, creation and interpretation of capacity analysis, knowledge of SMED concepts, Poke yokes, Yokoten, TPM & Kaizen, knowledge of equipment pricing, preferable handling of L2L software, management of PDM/PLM software preferred, knowledge of processes similar to machinery validation.
