Job Summary

We are seeking an ICQA Area Manager Jr to oversee the safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity of our Inventory Control & Quality Assurance department. This entry-level role will work closely with Area Managers, process owners, and business leaders to balance workload ensuring efficient shift operations while meeting all goals.

About the Role

The selected candidate will support compliance guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for associates and proactively identify process improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Measuring quality and inventory transaction integrity accuracy and providing feedback to the operation.
  • Developing and executing daily, weekly, and monthly action plans to increase quality, inventory accuracy, and service.
  • Planning for and identifying root causes of inventory deviations through cause and effect analysis.
  • Supervising a team of 20-30 hourly associates in Inventory Control/Quality Assurance operations within the fulfillment center.
  • Analyzing data trends to detect areas of improvement and defining action plans to meet KPIs.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 1+ years of working with computers and Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
  • High school or equivalent.
  • A flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience in manufacturing, production, and/or distribution centers or university-level internship/professional practice in those fields.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • English proficiency.
  • Experience leading teams of at least 20 individuals in training, coaching, and staff development.
  • Experience working in Inventory Control, Quality, and/or Analysis.
  • ICQA experience related to inventory discrepancy investigations and processes.
  • Proficiency in database engines such as SQL or Power BI.

Estimated Salary Range

$50,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience.
