Job Summary

Lear Corporation is a leading Tier 1 automotive supplier seeking a skilled Materials Manager to join our team. As a key member of our E-Systems division, you will be responsible for creating, implementing, and monitoring production and material control systems to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain inventory control systems to optimize raw material and finished product levels.
  • Ensure a level schedule that meets customer requirements and operates the plant efficiently.
  • Monitor and track engineering and model year changes to minimize premium freight and obsolescence.
  • Coordinate semi-annual physical inventories and ensure accurate inventory forecasting.
  • Provide operational resources and support to maintain a healthy and disciplined work environment.
  • Analyze and monitor excess and obsolete raw material and finished product trends.
  • Ensure the correct flow of material in the internal and external supply chain.
  • Develop and implement strategies to handle excess and obsolete materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Materials Manager or related role in the automotive industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of procurement, logistics, warehouse management, and C-TPAT.
  • Proficiency in QAD System MfgPro Advanced.
  • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Advanced level of English (bilingual).
