Global Brand Strategist

The purpose of this role is to collaborate with the strategy lead to craft strategic outputs including creative briefs, research reports and analyses, selling narratives, strategic POVs and go-to market plans.
Main Responsibilities:
- To have overall responsibility for writing briefs and conducting briefings on several brands.
- To mentor and train others in the same pursuits.
- To act as a catalyst to creative and brand teams in seeking out new ways to add value to the brand and in identifying future opportunities.
- To demonstrate maturity and leadership skills to become a key player in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary cross-agency team.
- To leverage data and insights to write inspiring briefs and lead creative briefings with little supervision.
- To demonstrate proficiency in the usage and translation of all types of data into leverageable insights to drive creative thinking and client growth.
- To be a knowledgeable leader for planners and associate planners and to be able to help them grow in the discipline.
- To pro-actively seek out opportunities to make the work better in a collaborative way.
- To build strong relationships with middle level marketing clients and earn their trust and respect.
- To demonstrate and foster a collaborative work environment in which ideas flourish.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a related field.
- Strong knowledge of marketing principles and practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year.
