The Senior Credit Portfolio Analyst is a key position within Citi's Risk Management team, responsible for conducting thorough credit reviews and credit approvals to ensure the company's portfolio exposure to clients and counterparties globally is managed effectively.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. Develop and implement credit policies by analyzing credit and financial performance, utilizing statistical scoring, segmentation, and regression techniques to identify potential risks and opportunities.

2. Utilize advanced data analytics tools, such as SAS in a UNIX environment, to perform risk, financial, and data analyses, including profiling, sampling, reconciliation, and quality testing.

3. Research customer and management queries using risk systems and data, and support ad-hoc risk policy analyses and projects as required.

4. Participate in developing, testing, and optimizing credit policies, ensuring consistency and regulatory compliance, and assist in the implementation of those policies, processes, and other related initiatives.

5. Manage risk levels for the entire credit spectrum across multiple products and retail formats, and prepare risk management presentations for senior management.

**Requirements:**

1. 5-8 years of relevant experience in risk management, credit analysis, or a related field.

2. Strong knowledge of commercial risk analytics, statistical modeling, and data analysis.

3. Proven ability to synthesize, prioritize, and drive results with a sense of urgency, while remaining organized in a fast-paced environment.

4. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytic skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.

5. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, such as finance, economics, or mathematics.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

1. Experience in risk management, credit analysis, or a related field, with a focus on portfolio credit risk management.

2. Advanced knowledge of credit cycle management, including cross-selling, credit initiation, program maintenance, collections, and fraud detection.

3. Experience working with unsecured and secured portfolios, with a strong understanding of credit risk management principles.

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.

5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to senior management and other stakeholders.
