The position for a Tax Accountant is based in Mexico City and involves working with a skilled team of professionals. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of tax provisions, returns, payments, reports, and maintenance of a comprehensive tax database.
- Identification of tax solutions for complex issues or errors resulting from incorrect filings.
- Promotion of tax savings and recommendation of strategies to enhance profitability.
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Providing tax insights to management on corporate strategies and new tax laws.
- Coordination of outsourced tax preparation services.
- Maintenance of accurate quarterly and annual tax reporting.
- Staying current with tax changes and industry trends through professional development opportunities.
Required Skills
We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Accountant with experience in accounting/audit, real estate/hospitality private equity, or hotel management.
